A man was arrested in El Paso County last week after threatening a person with a gun. Last Friday El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an active armed robbery near Jones Road. Officials say a man, identified as James Hughes, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded he get out of his car. Deputies arrived at the scene and were able to arrest Hughes without incident. He was booked into the El Paso County jail for several charges including menacing and possession of a weapon by a previous offender. On Sunday he was released on a 2,000 dollar bond.
