Two people were arrested Wednesday after a car theft in Colorado Springs. Early Tuesday a motor vehicle theft was reported in the 2300 block of Willow Tree Grove near Airport Road. The car was later found near Tulane Street and south Fairmont Street. Officials say the victim left their debit card in the vehicle and it was used at several businesses by the suspects. They were eventually tracked down to an apartment complex on University Drive. Ashley Steele and Richard Deanda were arrested for motor vehicle theft, identity theft and resisting arrest.
