A major bridge on I-25 will be shut down for demolition in Pueblo beginning Friday. Workers are demolishing the Highway 50 bridge over I-25. They are building a new interchange. The work will result in detours and nightly closures of the interstate. I-25 under the Highway 50 bridge will be closed from 9pm Friday night November 7th to 9am Saturday with closures also Saturday night into Sunday and Sunday night into Monday November 10th. There will be detours for southbound interstate traffic on Colorado Highway 47 to Colorado Highway 96. Northbound traffic will get off at U.S.50 and then get on to Colorado Highway 47 and back to the interstate.
