Early Monday morning one person died in a 4 car accident in Teller County. The State Patrol says a Ram 1500 truck was going west on Highway 24 near mile marker 270 when it drifted into the eastbound lanes and struck a Hyundai Elantra head on. 2 other vehicles, also going east behind the Elantra were also involved. First responders rushed the drivers of the Elantra and the Ram 1500 to hospitals. Officials say the driver of the Elantra died of their injuries. State troopers say the road may have been icy at the time of the accident.
