The Colorado Springs Police department sent out a release notifying the public of a sex offender who has moved to an address in Colorado Springs. He is 25 year old Kailan Marion, a 5’10 250lb black male with black hair and brown eyes. Police say he was convicted of 2 counts of attempted sexual assault on a child in El Paso County last year, and also served time for first degree criminal trespass, theft and forgery. Authorities say he is now registered as a transient and is staying in the area of the Springs Rescue Mission near 5 W. Las Vegas Street. He is on probation and supervised release.
