Colorado Springs Police are continuing their investigation after a good Samaritan was shot by a suspect Saturday night. Police received a call for a domestic violence incident in the 800 block of South Circle Drive. They would learn 3 good Samaritans were trying to de-escalate the situation on south Circle when a suspect pulled out a gun. The 3 jumped into a car, with the suspect firing one shot and hitting one of the 3. That person was not seriously injured. Authorities were able to find and arrest the suspect, identified as Jovani Sanchez. they also recovered a gun believed to have been used in the shooting.
