Colorado Springs police are issuing a warning to the public about a drug that is more dangerous than fentanyl. Officials say “Carfentanil” is a synthetic opioid that is 100 times stronger than fentanyl. Police say only .2 milligrams can be fatal and Narcan may not be as effective against it. Over 60 fatal drug overdoses have been reported since early November, almost half of them were either from Carfentanil or fentanyl. Carfentanil is an elephant tranquilizer.
