The search resumed Tuesday morning for two missing girls last seen in Elbert County. The girls who are in 7th and 8th grades left the Elbert School at 5pm Monday. There was a basketball game going on at the time. The missing girls are from the Colorado Springs School located near the Broadmoor. The two children were last seen wearing blue shorts and hoodies along with backpacks. Law enforcement searched throughout much of the night, suspending the search at 11pm and resuming it at 8am Tuesday.
