Wednesday afternoon members of the Colorado Springs Economic Development Council and El Paso County officials gathered to announce they want to move on from the fight to keep Space Command in Colorado Springs. President Trump announced last year it’s moving to Huntsville Alabama. Colorado attorney general Phil Weiser has filed a lawsuit to stop the move. but local officials say they are against that lawsuit and want to move forward. The group says they filed what’s called an “Amicus Brief” opposing Weiser’s lawsuit.
