Another protest in downtown Colorado Springs Sunday, this time to demonstrate against the killing of a man by ice agents in Minnesota. Alex Pretti was shot and killed Saturday in Minneapolis. Hundreds turned out Sunday in the springs to denounce ice. Federal officials defended the killing of Pretti, saying he was armed and impeded ice agents during an investigation. Pretti is the second person to be shot and killed by ice in Minneapolis this month. Former Colorado Springs resident Renee Good was also killed by ice during a protest January 7th. Federal officials are investigating the killing.
