No charges will be filed against the parents of the juvenile who opened fire at Evergreen High School last September. 16 year old Desmond Holly shot two students at the high school before taking his own life. Authorities traced the weapon Holly used back to a maternal grandparent. That weapon was kept in a gun safe. Authorities say Holly had very brief and limited access to the weapon. The gun had never been used by the family. Authorities determined Holly stole the weapon while he and his father were cleaning guns in the safe. They determined no charges should be filed against the parents. The 2 students shot were critically wounded. 1 of the victims continues to need round the clock care.
