More turmoil in the Republican party in Colorado. The Gazette is reporting a meeting has been called for February 21st to discuss taking a confidence vote on GOP Chairperson Brita Horn, and to limit her spending authority. Horn responded by saying the person scheduling the meeting does not have the authority to do so. Horns leadership at the top of the Colorado Republican party has been called into question following the resignation of vice chair Richard Holtorf who stepped down citing challenges working with Horn. He is the second vice chair in a year to resign. Holtorf alleged Horn is spending too much party money on lawsuits against former republican party members.
