A bomb threat led to evacuations in Calhan Thursday in the 400 block of Colorado avenue north of Highway 24. A man told authorities he received a message from someone telling him his car was carrying an explosive. Authorities evacuated the immediate area and searched the vehicle but didn’t find anything. Police were able to identify a suspect, and later in the day took that person into custody. It’s unknown if the victim and the suspect knew each other.
