Our partners at KKTV 11 News are reporting the owner of the land where Buc-ee’s wants to build a travel center at the southwest corner of I-25 and County Line Road have reportedly asked for a boundary line adjustment from El Paso County. Mountain Ridge West LLC made that request, but it’s unclear why. If approved, it would result in the parcel of land growing by 10 acres. However, construction on that property would not be allowed according to reports. Mountain Ridge West LLC recently withdrew their annexation request for the land to the town of Palmer Lake.
