A meeting Thursday in Colorado Springs as officials with the Front Range Passenger Rail District sought input from the public on a proposed rail system that would stretch along I-25 from Fort Collins to Pueblo, with a stop in the springs. Its an idea that’s been talked about for years. Officials may ask voters in November to approve a tax to pay for construction and upkeep of the system. The overall cost of the project is estimated to be 3.5 billion dollars. It is still years away from being built.
