Some changes at the Air Force Academy if you are trying to get on base, because of the operations in Iran. The academy has suspended the “Trusted Traveler” program. Visitors must have a DOD Id card or a pass from a sponsor. Security has been increased at both the north and south gates. Residents can still get on base for special events, such as sports with base access passes. The academy also said the Sante Fe Trail section that runs through the academy is closed. The current conditions could change at any time.
