Manitou Springs Police are appealing to the public looking for leads following a jewelry store burglary march 4th. Some 15 thousand dollars in merchandise was stolen from Lane Mitchell Jewelers. Police say they are looking for a white man about 6’3. He was wearing a black hoodie-style jacket, a lighter colored undershirt and dark colored pants. He had black gloves and a black face mask. Manitou police also believe a silver or white hatchback SUV was also involved in the crime.
