Flags lowered for Fort Carson soldier

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has ordered flags to fly at half-staff Friday to honor Fort Carson solider Benjamin Pennington who died March 1^st in Saudi Arabia in the war with Iran. Pennington was at the Prince Sultain Air Base in Saudi Arabia when Iranian missiles hit the base. Pennington was from Glendale Kentucky and was transferred to Fort Carson last year where he was a member of the 1^st battalion, 1^st space brigade. A memorial service for Penington will be held Saturday in Fort Knox Kentucky. Benjamin Pennington was 26 years old.
