The Colorado Springs Police department issued more than 2 dozen summons after a property owner reported an illegal car meet on his land last weekend. Police were called as the meet moved around southeast Colorado Springs. The drivers eventually stopped in a parking lot in the 2700 block of Palmer Park Boulevard. The owner of the property called police. Authorities blocked off several exits of that parking lot and issued 26 summons’ to the drivers of those cars for illegally taking over private property.
