The rift between Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade and city council over the money from marijuana sales tax revenue continues. Springs city council believes the 1.4 million dollars should go towards P-T-S-D support for veterans and a program to help clean up downtown. The mayor says it should be used in the city budget and public safety. Mobolade told KVOR’S Richard Randall the funds could be used to buy additional drones for public safety, and for additional safety resources.
