Evergreen High School will be closed all this week following the shooting Wednesday that wounded two students. When the school does re-open it will have a full-time school resource officer. 9 news in Denver is reporting the school was without a fulltime officer for almost a year after the previous officer took a medical leave of absence. The school shared a part-time resource officer with several other schools around the area. School resource officers have become the norm over the last 25 years since the Columbine High School shootings.
