A man has been arrested, suspected in the death of a male who was involved in a three car accident last month on U.S Twenty Four near Judge Orr Road. An investigation showed Twenty Nine year old Noel Gutierrez Cano was in one of the vehicles, but died from a gunshot wound. One of the drivers in the 3 car accident, identified as Jose Cruz Diaz Vasquez fled the scene. Deputies used video to identify Vasquez as one of the drivers in that accident. He was arrested in Las Cruces New Mexico 2 weeks ago on an outstanding warrant. He is awaiting extradition to El Paso County. Vasquez reportedly is undocumented immigrant.
