A mess on I-25 Monday afternoon as a truck going southbound collided with an overpass near the MLK Bypass. The truck was carrying an excavator. The accident forced officials to close two lanes of the interstate for a couple of hours. A car was hit by debris from the excavator. Officials say no was injured. The truck drove off but was later found near Sam Heights and Venetucci. The excavator was leaking fluids which had to be cleaned up. The truck driver faces several charges including hit and run and careless driving.
