A man with a long criminal history was arrested in Colorado Springs earlier this month. Last Saturday, El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies pulled up to a truck being towed near Meadowbrook Parkway and Woolsey Heights in Cimmaron Hills. Authorities saw two people unconscious in the car and syringes in plain sight. The man inside was identified as 42-year-old James Neeley, who woke up and told law enforcement there were guns in the car. Deputies found several guns, meth, fentanyl, marijuana and burglary tools. A criminal history check showed Neeley had a long felony record including a conviction for aggravated robbery. He was arrested and booked on a laundry list of charges.
