Two people were arrested after they attempted to break into several vehicles in southeast Colorado Springs Tuesday. El Paso County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 3000 block of Red Baron Drive after two people were seen trying to break into numerous cars. The suspects were later identified as, 43-year-old Melissa Estrada and 38-year-old Jessica Wyant. Officials say home surveillance footage showed the two trying to get into multiple vehicles in the surrounding neighborhood. Estrada was served and released on charges of conspiracy to commit attempted criminal trespass of an automobile. Wyant who tried to give authorities a false name, was booked into the El Paso County jail on charges of criminal impersonation and attempted criminal trespass of an automobile.
