Last week Manitou Springs Police canceled a number of events around the town because of an investigation. At the time police said little about what was going on. We have since learned a man was allegedly making threats against police and the city. He was identified as Travis Garrigan. He was arrested in Park County. He emailed authorities and threatened police and other employees, and said he was going to try and take control of the city. He is facing charges of harassment and attempting to influence a public servant.
