The Colorado State Patrol says one person has been arrested following a chase and shooting that began Tuesday in Colorado Springs and ended in Pueblo. A stolen vehicle was seen travelling on I-25 through the springs. The Monument Police Department, the State Patrol and eventually the Pueblo County Sheriff’s office were involved in the chase. It ended when the suspect vehicle crashed on Fairbanks drive in Pueblo. Shots were fired reportedly by the suspect and at least one officer returned fire. The suspect needed medical attention and was flown by Flight for Life to a hospital in Colorado Springs. It’s unknown if the suspect was hit by gunfire or hurt in the crash.
