The Colorado Lottery has passed two new rules that go into effect Thursday .They allow people to purchase lottery tickets with credit cards and will also allow online sales of lottery tickets. Many Colorado Politicians disagree with the new rules, but the lottery didn’t ask the legislature for any guidance. Detractors say people can abuse their credit or debit cards and run up large amounts of debt with the new rules. The Colorado Legislature is unable to review the new rules and have a say until 2027.
