A woman was arrested Sunday night by the El Paso County Sheriff’s department and is facing charges including attempted homicide, domestic violence, child abuse and 2nd degree assault. A 9-1-1 caller told deputies a man and woman were fighting. They responded to a home near south Academy and I-25 and found the pair, along with a child. The male had suffered a stab wound and was taken to the hospital. The woman, 31 year old Amanda Fahey is being in custody. The child reportedly was not hurt. It’s unknown if the man and woman are related.
