The Federal Bureau of Prisons has announced the cause of death for Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooter Robert Dear. Officials say he died from congestive heart failure. Doctors added Dear had low oxygen levels and too much fluid in his body. Dear attacked a planned parenthood center in the springs in 2015 killing 3 people and wounding 9 others. He admitted to the killing in initial court appearances but never went to trial. Dear was never mentally competent to aid on his own defense. He had been held in Missouri at the U.S. Medical Center for federal prisoners.
