Thursday night in Weld County four of the more than twenty GOP candidates running for governor took part in a debate sponsored by the “Women of Weld County. State senator Barb Kirkmeyer, Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell, army veteran Josh Griffin, who ran for congress in El Paso County in 2024, and podcaster Joe Oltmann took part in the discussion. Topics ranged from voting systems in Colorado, to Tina Peters, President Trump, Colorado’s current budget crisis, Space Command, and immigration and customs enforcement both in Colorado and around the nation.
