In a statement released last night the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association announced they have entered a non- binding memorandum of understanding to “seriously consider” moving their headquarters out of Colorado Springs to Cheyenne Wyoming. Cheyenne has wooed the PRCA for about a year, and made a proposal which included building a new hall of fame, new office space and headquarters on 35 acres of land. The PRCA also had a proposal from Colorado Springs. Mayor Yemi Mobolade said in a statement last night the city made a generous offer to keep the PRCA in the springs. The Wyoming legislator must approve the move, which is expected. That move may not come until 2029.
