Colorado Springs police and the El Paso County Sheriff’s office conducted a joint operation Wednesday morning. Search warrants were served on two homes, in the 1600 block of Howard and the 6000 block of Dancing Sun Way. Authorities would 5 find guns, and take 2 people into custody. They arrested 20 year old Tony Westfall and 20 year old Joshua Palmer. Both are charged with weapons related crimes. The springs Strategic Investigations unit and robbery units spearheaded the investigation.
