Colorado residents are seeing a rise in property taxes for 2026. One springs resident told KKTV her property taxes increased by 600 dollars. Why is there an increase? A provision passed by the Colorado legislature lowered tax rates for 2025. But it was only a 12 month bill and it has expired. There is hope a similar measure may be introduced and passed sometime this year for 2027.
