Nick Jonas showed up on The Tonight Show wearing a pair of jeans that came with an unexpected extra: a plane ticket with Glen Powell’s name on it tucked in the pocket. Jonas later shared the mix-up publicly, saying he only realized the pants had been worn before when he found the ticket.
Powell told Entertainment Tonight that Jonas FaceTimed him before posting the story to make sure he was okay with it. Powell said he was, and the two started joking about turning it into a movie. Powell floated the idea of calling it Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants, a nod to the friendship-focused film title.
The two have been spending time together lately for work, too. Powell is preparing to play a rock star in an upcoming Judd Apatow project, and Jonas has been offering pointers. Their friendship has also crossed into live music: Powell previously joined the Jonas Brothers onstage as a surprise guest at Fenway Park.
