A driver is in critical condition after their car wound up in Prospect Lake in Memorial Park late Thursday afternoon. Authorities say the car was westbound on airport and somehow ended up half submerged in the lake. First responders jumped into the water, broke the window on the driver’s side and pulled the driver to shore. That driver was last reported in critical condition. Two fire fighters and two springs police officers went to the hospital with minor injuries and hypothermia. It’s unclear why that car and driver wound up in the lake.
