The fallout continues following a vote of “no confidence “ Saturday by members of the republican party against Colorado Party Chair Brita Horn. About half of the republican party state central committee voted “no confidence” in Horns leadership. Party officials are asking her to not only step down but to stop what they say is costly litigation against former party chairperson Dave Williams. 2 vice chairs have resigned in the last year under Horns leadership. Horn said Saturday’s meeting was illegal and carried no official weight. She told KVOR’s Richars Randall the 2 vice chairs resigned simply because they did not understand the time commitments the job required. Horn says she has scheduled a meeting March 2nd where there is the potential for another no confidence vote.
