A child is recovering after being hit by a car in Colorado Springs Thursday morning. Police were called to a crash near Discovery Canyon Campus at Northgate Boulevard and Silverton Road. Officials say the child was on a scooter when they were hit. They were taken to a hospital with lower body injuries but are in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation, Speed and impairment are not suspected to be factors.
