A Castle Rock man who failed to appear to learn his verdict in a court case Friday was arrested by authorities over the weekend as he tried to flee to Mexico. Jorge Campos was found guilty of 5 counts of sexually abusing a child but skipped the court appearance. His ankle monitor was found in a trash can. A TV viewer who saw a story about Campos and his picture called police and said they believed he was on a bus heading for Mexico. Authorities stopped the bus in Chapparel New Mexcio and took Campos into custody. He was found guilty of sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s daughter. Campos could face life in prison.
