The latest now on the 24 Fire which continues to burn southwest of Colorado Springs along Highway 115. The blaze is now at 7404 acres. Containment has grown to 24%. Firefighters said crews were able to strengthen control lines around the fire Monday. Fire crews have been able to keep the blaze to the east of Highway 115. Cloudy, cooler weather helped firefighters but beginning Tuesday through Thursday temperatures will jump into the lower 80’s with lower humidities. So far no one has been hurt and there are no reports of any structures being damaged.
