Colorado Springs police announced this morning the arrest of 2 people who were allegedly involved in a 2025 murder. Police found a deceased woman who died of a gunshot wound January 1st 2025 in the 5800 block of Oakwood Boulevard. The victim was identified as 35 year old Andrea Martinez. Last week springs police arrested 27 year old Brandy Cantu and charged her with second degree murder. Police also had a warrant out for 22 year old Ricky Gomez in this case. He turned himself into authorities. Police have not released a motive.
