A two vehicle accident left two people dead Monday afternoon in the springs. The wreck happened at Marksheffel road south of Petersen Space Force base and the east gate. Police say a Toyota heading south crossed into the northbound lane striking another car. Both people in the Toyota were killed. One person in the second car is in critical condition. The second person is listed in serious condition. Police don’t know why the car drifted into the other lane.
