Pueblo: Sex Assault Investigation Involves Coach

This morning, the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for other victims, after a former middle school coach in D-70 was accused of sexually assaulting a student. Deputies say they cannot release the coach’s name. District officials say he also worked as a paraprofessional. Investigators believe that other students could have been groomed by the man, and there is one alleged assault. The coach was employed from 2021 until November 2022. Detectives believe the coach contacted students on social media. Anyone with information can contact the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office. No arrests have been made.MORE

                El Paso County Commissioners voted Tuesday to allow tiny houses in unincorporated areas. The Gazette reports, they voted to amend the “land use” code to permit tiny houses in agricultural zoning districts, on some residential lots and wherever mobile homes are allowed.  MORE
