Hundreds of people are expected today at the Ent Center for the Performing Arts to hear arguments both for and against an A-I data center that wants to move into an abandoned building near Garden of the Gods and Centennial. A California company Raeden wants to move into a building once occupied by Rockwell International. Many neighbors are against the move, citing noise, how much power the center will need and how much water will be used. 5 formal appeals were filed with the city. Those individuals will be given up to 12 minutes each to address the Colorado Springs City Planning Commission. Raeden will make a presentation to the city. That will be followed by public comment.
