The Teller County Coroner’s office identified the suspect in Tuesdays shooting outside Woodland Park that left two Colorado State Patrolmen injured. He was identified as 51 year old Robert Richards Jr from Loveland. The two patrol officers were also identified. Troopers Skylar Hoehn and Clark Tinan were wounded by Richards who had been pulled over on Highway 24. After shooting the patrolmen the suspect fled before being shot and killed by a Teller County Sheriff’s deputy. Hoehn remains hospitalized but the state patrol says he is doing well. Tinan is out of the hospital after suffering minor injuries.
