A woman is in jail accused of second degree murder. Springs police responded to a call late Friday night in the 1500 block of east Buena Vista. They found a man who had been shot in the chest. He passed away at a hospital. Police interviewed a female at the scene. Arrest papers say the female had been involved in an altercation with the deceased. Police she had a gun and shot the man. 23 year old Danna Corral-Montelongo remains in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. What led up to the shooting is still unknown.
