Colorado Springs police took a man into custody after he was accused of burglary and assault. Police responded to a call for help this morning at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Arrawanna close to north Circle and east Platte. A victim said a man, identified as 30 year old Malik Jefferson threw something at her and was breaking into apartments. Jefferson fought with officers but was taken down and arrested. Police say he would crawl through attics and ceilings and break into people’s apartments. Turns out Jefferson had 3 outstanding warrants for his arrest. There are reports he may have been on drugs.
