According to the Gazette a search is beginning to find a new President and CEO for “Focus on the Family” based here in Colorado Springs. Current President Jim Daly is going to retire. Daly took over for founder Dr. James Dobson in 2005. Dobson started the organization in 1977 in Southern California as a ministry promoting Christian values and parenting advice. Dobson moved the organization to Colorado Springs in 1991. Daly began working at Focus in 1989.
