Officials battling the Hammer Fire southeast of Fountain say they have that blaze 80% contained. It burned just under 5 thousand acres. Firefighters are hoping they can have the fire 100% contained sometime Friday. Officials say no homes or buildings were damaged. Fire officials say they know how the fire started but won’t reveal that right now. They do say it was not arson. All evacuation orders have been dropped.
