A funeral home in Colorado Springs is now under investigation. Back in January the Department of Regulatory Agencies got a tip about the Evergreen Funeral Home, on east Fountain. An inspection revealed that the building was storing more human remains than it was capable of and chain of custody documents were not completed consistently. The Department of Regulatory Agency now wants the funeral home to submit written reports every 90 days, and to self-report any infractions. The funeral home is now on probation.
